As the outgoing beer festival organiser, I’d like to share an important message.

Do you enjoy our branch beer festival? If so, we need your help to make sure it continues for another year. Without more volunteers, we won’t be able to keep this much-loved event alive.

We’re holding a feasibility meeting on Tuesday 18th November, 8pm at The Fleece, Bretforton.

This will be a chance to hear more about what’s involved and how you can help.

The organising period usually runs for around six months, with lots of different jobs to be done – some big, some small. No matter how much time you can offer, there’s a role for you.

At the moment we especially need people to cover key roles such as:
• Festival Organiser
• Publicity & Advertising
• Staffing Officer
• Programme Development

…plus plenty of other general tasks where an extra pair of hands would make all the difference.

You don’t need previous experience – just enthusiasm, a bit of time, and a willingness to get involved.

Please do come along to the meeting and see how you could help keep the festival thriving.

Failure to secure sufficient volunteers does mean the festival won’t go ahead in 2026.
