See more about this pub on WhatPub, CAMRA's national pub guide.
A superb country pub at the bottom of the village. Dating back to the 11th century, it is stone built with exposed beams and a flagstone floor. Ownership of this free house changed early in 2014, so did the tenant, Quentin. Log burning stoves provide winter warmth, Aunt Sally is played in the garden during summer months. This friendly local is reputedly haunted by the ghost of a Roundhead from the nearby battle of Edgehill. Childrens room. Garden. Wheelchair friendly.
