Located in historic Stratford-upon-Avon, directly opposite the Royal Shakespeare Company Theatres. Formerly part of the Thistle Hotels group. Ceased real ale in autumn 2007 after more than 20 years due to low demand. It has re-gained the original name after a major refurbishment (opening July 2010) as a 45-bedroom luxury hotel. Real Ale back on in 2011. £4 plus for a pint.
