A rambling old pub with a light modern make-over including comfy seating areas. The car park has a brook running through the middle and is a good basis for local walks. A garden is available to the side of the pub offering lovely rural views. Reopened July 2020 under new ownership. The retro-styled Happy Eater American Diner opened in July 2025 in the pub annex.
