Cosy and attractive free house, built in the 17th Century as a cider house and now owned by a local trust. The present kitchen was originally a village mortuary. Situated on a Sustrans route close to the river Avon, popular with cyclists, walkers and visitors to nearby Charlecote Park (NT). A sheltered rear courtyard is popular for Sunday afternoon barbecues in summer. Real fire, garden. Lunches & evening meals. Two real ales available during winter. The pub closes 3-5 Monday to Thursday during winter.
