An old pub tucked away down a side street, with a strong community involvement. The Garden Bar is open Friday evening and all day at weekends in summer. Meals are no longer available, however breakfast is served Saturday and Sunday 10am-2pm. There is music on Sunday afternoon and open mic in the garden on Saturday. A third hand pump is in use at busy times. Local CAMRA Pub of the Season award for Winter 2024.
